Ways to Play Fast Play™
There are three ways to play Fast Play.
How to Play in Retail
Visit any Illinois Lottery retailer to purchase a Fast Play ticket. You can purchase the ticket from the store clerk or through an Illinois Lottery vending machine.
To purchase from the store clerk, visit the checkout counter and ask for the Fast Play game you’d like to play. After you pay, the store clerk will immediately print out your ticket.
To purchase from an Illinois Lottery vending machine, use the vending machine touchscreen. Select Fast Play and choose the Fast Play game you’d like to play. Insert the designated payment, then the vending machine will print your ticket.
One Fast Play game is printed per ticket.
To determine if your ticket is a winner, follow the “HOW TO WIN” instructions printed on the ticket. You can also determine whether your ticket is a winner by using the ticket scanner at the terminal, at an Illinois Lottery vending machine, or on the Illinois Lottery app.
Register to Play
Before you can play online, you must register for an Illinois Lottery account. Visit the registration page to register today.
Purchase Your Tickets Online
Go to the Fast Play page, add your tickets by using the “+”, select “BUY NOW,” review your purchase, then click the “CONFIRM PURCHASE” button.
Select Your Ticket
Your purchased tickets will appear at the top of the Fast Play page. Click “PLAY” to play your selected game.
Play the Game
Select “Play” to view the ticket’s animation; your game result will be displayed at the end of the animation, and wins will be highlighted.
Claim Your Winnings
Any win of $600 or less will be automatically added to your online account wallet. However, if such winnings cause your total account balance to exceed $2,000, the excess winnings will be sent to you via check. Any win over $600 must be claimed by mail or at an Illinois Lottery Claim Center. Prizes of $10,000 or less may also be redeemed through an Illinois Lottery e-Claim. Scan Your Ticket to Play
Open the Illinois Lottery app and select the Scanner tab. Scan the barcode located at the bottom of your ticket.
To download the app, use the QR code located on your ticket.
Play the Game
After you scan the barcode on your ticket, your game will launch in the app. Select “Play” to view the ticket’s animation; your game result will be displayed at the end of the animation.
You can also determine whether your ticket is a winner by scanning the barcode located at the bottom of the ticket with the scanner on the ticket checker or Illinois Lottery vending machine.
Hold on to Your Winning Ticket
If your ticket is a winner, you will need your printed ticket to claim your prize.
Fast Play Scan-N-Play prizes must be claimed within one year of the date of purchase, which is printed on your ticket.
