What is the promotion?
If a player buys two Lotto plays ($4 value) for the current draw on a single ticket, they will receive one free (Quick Pick) Lotto coupon ($2 value) that is redeemable at any Illinois Lottery retailer in-store only from 5/03/21 through 5/31/21.
How do I take advantage of this promotion?
A player must make a qualifying purchase for the In-Store Promotion, Buy two Lotto, Get One Lotto Free. Specifically, they must buy two Lotto plays ($4 value) for the current draw on a single ticket. The qualifying purchase can be made at any Illinois Lottery retailer from April 19, 2021, through May 2, 2021. Illinois Lottery terminals and vending machines can issue and accept coupons.
How do I receive a coupon for the free Lotto play?
After a player makes a qualifying purchase from an Illinois Lottery vending machine or a store clerk, the respective vending machine or store counter terminal will automatically print a coupon. The coupon will then be redeemable in-store only from May 3, 2021 through May 31, 2021.
Will I be able to pick the numbers on the free ticket?
No, you will not be able to pick your numbers on the free Lotto play.
If I buy more than two Lotto tickets in a single transaction, can I get more than one coupon?
No, players will only receive one free Lotto coupon per transaction.
Can the qualifying ticket be purchased along with my other Illinois Lottery tickets in a single transaction?
Yes, retailers can combine the qualifying purchase and other Lottery purchases in a single transaction. A free coupon will be automatically generated with any qualifying purchase.
How do I redeem my FREE Lotto play?
You can redeem your FREE Quick Pick Lotto play in-store at any Illinois Lottery vending machine or from the store clerk from May 3, 2021 through May 31, 2021.
If redeeming from a vending machine:
Scan the coupon barcode, using the barcode reader to generate the FREE Lotto Quick Pick play. The FREE ticket will automatically print at the vending machine
Collect the ticket from the vending machine ticket dispenser.
If redeeming from a store clerk:
Hand the free Lotto coupon to the clerk.
The clerk will scan the barcode on the free Lotto coupon and give you a FREE Lotto Quick Pick play.
Can a qualifying purchase or free ticket be canceled if I change my mind?
No, draw based game qualifying purchases and the free Lotto ticket (i.e., the ticket received when redeeming the coupon) cannot be canceled.
